§ 2-5. Board appointees to hold office until successors are appointed and qualify.

Members of regulatory and advisory boards appointed by the Board of County Commissioners shall continue to hold office until their successors are appointed and qualified for office, unless otherwise provided by ordinance or law. This section shall not operate to extend the term of the subsequent appointment, which shall terminate as if the office had been filled by timely appointment at the beginning of the regular term of office.
