§ 17-33. Administration.

  • (a)

    The day to day administration of the library shall be in the charge of the county attorney, subject to the direction of the board of county commissioners in accordance with property and financial accounting procedures of law and ordinance and with the assistance of the advisory committee created by this article.

    (b)

    The county attorney is hereby authorized to purchase, within the limits of the law library special revenue fund created by this article, all updates, supplements, pocket parts, and the like, necessary to maintain all approved and existing law library inventory at a current status on a continuing basis, subject to the approval of the board of county commissioners.

    (c)

    The county attorney is authorized to dispose of all out-dated, superseded, replaced or otherwise revised volumes and publications after the approval of the board of county commissioners.

    (d)

    The county attorney shall maintain a current inventory of all books, sets of books, and other publications in the law library, and shall report to the board of county commissioners, upon the request of either, regarding the cost of maintaining inventory at a current status.
