§ 6-41. Issuance.

The appropriate staff of the county building department shall examine the application for a permit made pursuant hereto within a reasonable time after filing (not to exceed thirty (30) days) and if it appears that the proposed work meets the requirements of, and will be performed in compliance with, all codes, applicable rules and regulations and the provisions of this chapter, a permit shall be issued. If the examination reveals otherwise, the application shall be rejected. The applicant shall be notified of the deficiencies and corrections made before a permit is issued.
