§ 5-23. Slow speed/minimum wake zones designated.
The following bodies of water or portions thereof, situated within the county, are hereby designated as slow speed/minimum wake zones:
(1)
Swimming Pen Creek slow speed/minimum wake zone. Swimming Pen Creek, from its confluence with Doctors Lake upstream to its uppermost reaches, inclusive of all tributaries draining therein.
(2)
North Fork Black Creek slow speed/minimum wake zone. North Fork Black Creek, from the bridge at S.R. 21 upstream to its uppermost reaches, inclusive of all tributaries draining therein.
(3)
South Fork Black Creek slow speed/minimum wake zone. South Fork Black Creek, from the bridge at C.R. 218 upstream to its uppermost reaches, inclusive of all tributaries draining therein.
(4)
Middleburg boat ramp slow speed/minimum wake zone. North Fork Black Creek, from one hundred (100) yards upstream to one hundred (100) yards downstream of the Middleburg boat ramp located at the end of Main Street in Middleburg.
(5)
Old Ferry boat ramp slow speed/minimum wake zone. Black Creek, from one hundred (100) yards upstream to one hundred (100) yards downstream of the Old Ferry boat ramp located at the end of Old Ferry Road.
(6)
Peters Creek slow speed/minimum wake zone. Peters Creek, from the confluence of Peters Creek and Black Creek upstream to its uppermost reaches, inclusive of all tributaries draining therein.

Knights boat ramp slow speed/minimum wake zone (Black Creek and the St. Johns River.) On Black Creek, for a point of beginning, commence at the most westerly point of the southern terminus of the U.S. Highway 17 bridge, meander 2,260.37 feet more or less along the southern bank of Black Creek in a westerly/northwesterly direction to a point located at 81° 42' 45.317" W; 30° 2' 30.728" N (the Camp Chowenwaw Fishing Pier), then run in a straight line in a northeasterly direction across Black Creek 861.04 feet more or less to a point located on the northern bank of Black Creek at 81° 42' 38.267" W; 30° 2' 36.873" N, then meander 2,085.33 feet more or less in an easterly direction along the northern bank of Black Creek and then northerly along the western bank of the St. Johns River to a point located at 81° 42' 19.618" W; 30° 2' 49.027" N, then run in a straight line approximately 531.11 feet in a southeasterly direction to a point located at 81° 42' 14.25" W; 30° 2' 47.202" N, then run in a straight line approximately 129.69 feet in a southwesterly direction to a point located at 81° 42' 14.657" W; 30° 2' 45.651" N, then run in a straight line approximately 1,601.44 feet in a southwesterly direction to a point located at 81° 42' 25.847" W; 30° 2' 33.562" N, then run in a straight line south approximately 1,230.70 feet to a point on the southern bank of Black Creek located at 81° 42' 25.848" W; 30° 2' 21.209" N, and being 450 feet more or less from the most easterly point of the southernmost terminus of the U.S. Highway 17 bridge, then meander west 450 feet more or less to the point of beginning, as depicted graphically on the map attached to Ord. No. 09-53 as Exhibit A.

Governors Creek slow speed/minimum wake zone. Governors Creek, from one hundred (100) yards east of the Governors Creek boat ramp upstream to its uppermost reaches, inclusive of all tributaries draining therein.
