§ 2-194. Meetings, rules of procedure and quorum requirements.

The transportation advisory commission shall hold regular meetings and such other
meetings as its members shall deem necessary. Unless the by-laws or the rules of the
transportation advisory commission provide otherwise, meetings may be held at the
call of the chairperson thereof. Each meeting of the transportation advisory commission
and any committee thereof shall be open to the public, and shall be preceded by notice
published reasonably in advance thereof. The transportation advisory commission may
adopt by-laws and such other rules of organization and procedure as it shall deem
necessary, and shall determine the duties of its members. The transportation advisory
commission may from time to time amend or repeal its adopted by-laws and rules in
accordance with such procedures as may be provided therein. Each member of the transportation
advisory commission in attendance at a particular meeting shall be entitled to vote
on each matter put to a vote at such meeting, and a majority of those members comprising
the quorum at such meeting who vote in favor of such matter shall be sufficient to
approve the same, unless the adopted by-laws and rules shall require a greater number
with regard to such matter. Effective September 23, 2003, the quorum required to conduct
business at any meeting shall consist of eight (8) members.
