§ 2-11. Use of design-build contracts for public construction projects.

(a)

When the county manager determines that it is appropriate to use a design-build contract for a particular project, he shall so inform the board of county commissioners in writing. Design-build contracts shall be awarded in accordance with the requirements of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, or its successor in function.

(b)

The term "design-build contract" shall have the same meaning as stated in Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, or its successor in function.
