§ 19-171. State and local requirements.

Latest version.
  • (a)

Many of the requirements of this article have been extracted from Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Codes and cannot be waived by any local authority. Requests for variance from any such state-imposed requirements must be processed in accordance with Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.

    (b)

Other requirements of this article are locally-adopted measures, more restrictive than state law, rules and regulations, designed to meet public health needs peculiar to Clay County. It is these latter requirements only that are appealable to local authorities.

    (c)

Applicants who desire to appeal decisions of the health department, will be advised by the department as to the proper procedure to be followed in filing appeals.
