Chapter 18. ROADS, BRIDGES, PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES, ETC. |
Article IV. GRADED ROAD ACQUISITIONS |
§ 18-206. Exceptions.
Excepted from the requirements and applicability of this article are the following:
(1)
Any graded roads which are initially and originally constructed by the board, and the rights-of-way upon which said graded roads are located.
(2)
Any graded roads which are not open and which will remain closed to the general public, to serve the board and its employees, agents or invitees.
(3)
Any graded roads which the board may hereafter except by resolution setting forth the intention of the board and describing the applicable graded road.
(4)
Deeds, easements or other muniments of title acquired or accepted for the purpose of curing defects in title to any rights-of-way upon which a graded road is located and which the county has regularly maintained.
(5)
That certain road currently known as Kindlewood Drive, formerly known as Harrison Road, generally located in section 17, Township 4 South, Range 25 East, Clay County, Florida.
(6)
Those certain roads currently known as Indian Trail and Oak Forest Lane, located in the unrecorded subdivision known as Oak Forest and Oak Forest Extension, and generally located in sections 32 and 33, Township 7 South, Range 24 East, and in Sections 3, 4, 10 and 15, Township 8 South, Range 24 East, Clay County, Florida.

Those roads located within the unrecorded and recorded subdivision of Hidden Waters known as Hidden Waters Drive East, Hidden Waters Drive West, Hidden Waters Drive North, Black Creek Trail, Quail's Nest Drive, Red Bird Lane, and Lazy Gator Drive, located in a portion of Section 10, Township 5 South, Range 25 East, located in Clay County, Florida.

The road known as River Lane, located in Section 28, Township 5 South, Range 26 East, in Clay County, Florida, but only as to that portion of the road bounded on the west by the easterly right of way line of U.S. 17, as now established and on the east to a point in said road no further east than where the northerly extension of the eastern boundary of lands described in Deed Book 100, page 401 and in Official Records Book 1128, page 475, intersects with the southerly extension of the eastern boundary of lands described in Official Records Volume 374, page 651, all in the public records of Clay County, Florida.

Certain roads located within the unrecorded subdivisions of Park Place, Duckwater Woods, Duckwater Woods II, Whispering Creek Pines, Holly Oaks, Turkey Creek, Turkey Forest, Green Acres, High Point, Hunter Hill, Greensboro, Goldsboro, Anglewood Acres, Creekwood, Rain Tree Acres and Sylvia Acres, said roads being known as Bent Twig Road, Blue Jay Drive, Blue Sky Court, Boardwalk Place, Bridlewood Place, Candlewood Court, Crestview Court, Duckwater Drive, Friendly Place, Gentle Breeze Road, Green Meadows Drive, Harvest Way, Hermitage Place, Hudson Place, Huntington Court, Knottingham Place, Loon Court, Open Woods Road, Pepperhill Court, Peregrine Place, Quiet Acres Lane, Rose Ridge Court, Silver Birch Place, Timberwood Trail, Treeland Avenue, Wedgefield Court, Windmill Court and Wren Lane, and said subdivisions and roads being located in portions of Sections 4, 5 and 6, Township 5 South, Range 24 East, Clay County, Florida.

Certain roads and portions of roads in Highridge Estates as depicted on the plat recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 38—44 of the County's public records, and more particularly described as: Temple Street; that portion of Baylor Avenue lying between Temple Street and Skidmore Street; Purdue Street; that portion of Alliance Avenue lying between Purdue Street and Wesleyan Road; Wesleyan Road; that portion of Reed Drive lying between Wesleyan Road and Emory Avenue; that portion of Emory Avenue lying between Road Drive and Duke Street; Duke Street lying north of Emory Avenue; that portion of Furman Avenue lying between Duke Street and Clemson Street; Clemson Street; that portion of Lake Road lying between Clemson Street and Hill Road; that portion of Hill Road lying within the above-referenced plat of Highridge Estates; that portion of Furman Avenue lying between Clemson Street and Furman Street; Furman Street; that portion of Cornell Road lying between Furman Street and Citadel Street; that portion of Citadel Street lying between Cornell Road and Colgate Road; that portion of Colgate Road lying between Citadel Street and Yale Street; that portion of Yale Street lying between Colgate Road and Dennison Avenue; Dennison Avenue.

The road currently known as Flintlock Court, the limits of which lie coextensive with that certain forty-foot easement for ingress, egress and utilities across portions of Lot 12 and Lots 22 through 27, as shown on the plat of Battery Bluff recorded in Plat Book 12, pages 45—47 of the County's public records.

The road currently known as Turner Road, the same extending west from Randall Road, as now established, and being situated more or less along the common boundary between the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 9, T6S, R26E, and the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of said Section 9, T6S, R26E, and also including the portion thereof extending westerly approximately three hundred twenty (320) feet into Section 8, T6S, R26E.
