§ 18.3-250.5. Ad valorem taxes.

The board shall be authorized and empowered to levy and collect municipal purpose ad valorem taxes for funding the provision and delivery of law enforcement services by the sheriff of the county within the Law Enforcement MSTU-2, and the provision and delivery of facilities, materials, services and equipment in support of such law enforcement services, to the extent permitted and in the manner provided by the constitution and general law of the state.
