§ 12-126. Alarm system testing.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful and a violation of this article to cause any alarm system designed to transmit an alarm signal of any kind directly to either agency to be tested or demonstrated without first notifying such agency, receiving prior authorization for the same, and thereafter proceeding to so test and demonstrate only in strict accordance with the time, date and manner of such authorization.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful and a violation of this article to cause any alarm system designed to transmit an alarm signal of any kind directly to a monitoring service to be tested or demonstrated for the purpose of determining the response by either agency.
