§ 27. Duration.

The board of county commissioners is authorized to provide in the resolution an initial franchise term of up to fifteen (15) years, during which the franchise agreement shall remain in full force and effect, unless sooner terminated as provided herein. The board of county commissioners is further authorized to provide in the resolution for a renewal term of up to fifteen (15) years upon written request by the grantee.
